We purchased three 'Stow-B-Low' crab pods from you at the Portland Sportsman Show.

We used them for the first time last week, at the Clatsop Spit. We were very happy with them!! (See picture on the left of our catch!)

I've used the Crab Pod for two successful years of recreational crabbing from my sea kayak. The Pod has been kind to my gel coated kayak. Being able to stow below through small deck hatches is important, as is the fact that riding the Pod on the deck doesn't scar the boat. Most importantly, the Pod snagged the largest crab I ever caught. It works. I look forward to another successful season of Pod crabbing with my kayaking buddies in our local Kayak Crabbing Corps.

"I went crabbing at the mouth of the Columbia. I stayed to long. When I started pulling my pots, I could only find two of the four. The current was running so strong that it pulled the buoys under water. The pots went through 2 outgoing tides before I could get back out and look for them. One trap was a round metal trap and the other was a Crab Pod from Stow-B-Low.net. Due to the weight, I suspected that the metal trap would be there, but due to the lighter weight, I didn't expect to get the Crab Pod back. But there they both were right where I left them. Eventually, I will get rid of my metal traps and buy 2 more of the Crab Pods. They fish just as well and and are so easy to use and store. I would recommend them to anyone. Congratulations on a great product."

I stow my Crab Pod along the gunnel. It is out of the way. I could store 6 or 7 there with no problem. The Crab Pod is great. I will have more details later as I get to use my Crab Pod more.
